On March 25, the "(21st) 2025 Innovation and Development Forum of the Hot Melt Adhesive Industry", hosted by the China Adhesives and Adhesive Tapes Industry Association (CATIA) and organized by the Hot Melt Adhesive Professional Committee, grandly opened at the Wuhan Eurasia International Exhibition Hotel. 

The theme of this summit forum is "Green and Low-carbon, Leading the Sustainable Development of the Hot Melt Adhesive Industry". According to the latest statistical data of the association, in 2024, the total output of hot melt adhesives in China reached 1.801 million tons, and the sales volume reached 31.981 billion yuan, an increase of 11.45% and 5.06% respectively compared with the previous year. Remarkable achievements have been made, and it occupies a leading position in China's adhesive industry.

In 2025, the entire industry should seize the significant opportunities presented by the new scientific and technological revolution and global green transformation, promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, the cultivation and growth of emerging industries, and the development of future industries. As the director member unit of the previous session and the current vice director member unit, Jiahao Hot Melt Adhesive was invited to participate in this grand event. Wang Wenmin, the director of the R&D Department at Jaour, gave a relevant report to share industry information.

Wang Wenmin (Marvin), the Technical Director, presented a report titled "The Application of Guibao JAOUR Hot-Melt Adhesive in the Medical and Tape Industries", pointed out the performance characteristics, advantages, and disadvantages of the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives currently used in medical tapes, and elaborated on the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive products developed by Jaour to improve these performances as well as their applications in the medical tape industry. He also shared the application of rubber oil in hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives.

In addition, in the morning, a guest interview was conducted on topics such as "Innovation and Development of Key Raw Materials for HMAs and HMPSAs, and Innovative Technologies and Applications of HMAs and HMPSAs". The guest interview session was hosted by Fan Fuliang, Deputy General Manager and Business Director of Jaour. Through face-to-face communication, in-depth and comprehensive exchanges and discussions were carried out around the theme and topics. The representatives present actively raised their hands to ask questions about market and technical issues they cared about and were interested in. The guests carefully answered the questions raised by the audience. In the enthusiastic atmosphere of Q&A sessions, they jointly discussed industry innovation and high-quality development.
